Very nice food, well worth waiting for. Restaurant is small and on a busy night can get extremely hot and loud. Decor doesn't do the Chef or her food justice, looking like a small countryside coffee shop but the food is really good and the barman/co-owner is very nice to chat to whilst having a drink at the bar before going to your table. If you find yourself in South Molton, make sure you try Dawn's Stumbles, even booking a week in advance. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm not every time I go, when I'm in the area on business.

Really nice place! Casual atmosphere and great food.

This is an "OK" place. The starter of 3 tiger prawns didn't taste very much of the promised garlic and parsley. The herb crust on the chicken seemed like shop bought stuffing and was very very dry. The gravy in their steak and kidney pie was lovely and the pastry was good too, but the pie didn't seem to contain all that much steak. The puddings we had were both very nice.

Had a birthday celebration with friends. There were 19 of us altogether seated on two tables. I had a nut roast with salad and a side of chips. My fellow diners had several different dishes ranging from rib eye steak to fish pie. A variety of dishes on the menu all served with freshly cooked vegetables. Served hot and all of us said our meals were delisious. I had a warm brownie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. My companions had cheese cake, meringue with cream and ice cream and two had ice cream potions. All followed by cafetiere of lovely coffee. This is a cozy restaurant with a lovely court yard for outside seating. There is ample parking and it's close to the main car park. This restaurant is situated in the center of the town. Altogether a lovely meal in comfortable surroundings with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent atmosphere, attentive staff. Food of high quality but in need of refinement. All in all good for a business that has just started up. Will be visiting again.
