Little gem of a pub. Definitely a locals pub but don't let that put you off, we went in the middle of winter. I expect it's different in the summer. Food was tasty, homemade and plenty of it. Dogs are very welcome and good parking.
Very good value. Stayed in the cottage behind the pub. Enjoyed the home made food too
Very pleasant traditional country pub. Quite basic on entry but with a warm welcome, home cooked food, play area for the kids outside and games in the skittle alley for them if it's raining. Shockingly cheap drinks and overall a very pleasant welcoming place tonstop for drinks or food. Logburners for winter and very clean facilities.
Lovely pub and laid back camp site. Phone signal almost non existent so definitely a get away from it all place. Good pub grub and very frendly staff and owners. Thanks lady's we will be back.
Stayed 1 night at the campsite, great little site with really good facilities. A bit of a shock when we arrived though, the pub was shut and we followed instructions to press the buzzer hard for attention, my partner did this twice as the buzzer did not make a sound, the next thing a lady I'm assuming this was the landlady was shouting at us from an upstairs window, very rude and abrupt. My meal in the pub was ok though would be good to see fresh vegetables not a plate piled with frozen mixed veg. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. The lady again was quite abrupt with some people when serving food. I would use the campsite again and the pub for a drink, but not for food .
