The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I recently wanted something that I knew they stocked but both myself and the floor staff were unable to find it on the floor. They took the time to go through their entire inventory and even phoned their distribution centre in order to help me. Eventually we found what I was looking for and I left happy. A perfect example of going the extra mile.....

A goldmine of equipment, clothes, food ... the list goes on. Seemed to have something for everyone. I liked the big bag of potatoes and selection of bottled beers. Wife liked the clothes.
Basically it's the only choice you have in the area. Some things are good value and other things are ridiculous. Why would you want a pack of 6 chocolate cookies when what you need is a big pack of chocolate digestives. Local producers foods are preferable but some everyday brand stuff for the store cupboard would be great as well.
A very good place to get wood burners, chain saws etc, bird food, beautiful cakes, meat, milk, bread, and many other foods and many gardening tools. They also sell tools for those who have land and equipment for horses. Gift items, cards, general cleaning materials and all sorts of other items available. Some food, seems to me, to be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. You have to allow for VAT to be added to the cost of some items.
